SS304 (stainless steel 304) is the standard grade used for most sealing wire applications. It offers good corrosion resistance, high tensile strength, and is cost-effective.
SS316 (stainless steel 316) contains molybdenum, which provides superior resistance to chlorides and harsh chemical environments. SS316 is recommended for marine environments, coastal applications, chemical plants, and food processing where higher corrosion resistance is required.
Both can be manufactured in various diameters and strand configurations. Your choice depends on the operating environment and budget.
Our standard MOQ for sealing wire is 1,000 kilograms per specification. However, we understand that new customers may want to test our products first. For sample orders, we can accommodate smaller quantities — typically one spool (100 kg) or less depending on the specification.
